Behind the scenes at Chelsea

This Thursday, KLC arranged a tour of the Show Gardens under construction on main avenue. We donned our luminous yellow safety jackets and steel capped boots and headed into the show ground.

It was a hive of mad activity. The heavy lifting and hard landscaping was mostly complete by now, but there were pots of shrubs and perennials everywhere. It was such a treat to see behind the scenes and will certainly make me appreciate the gardens even more when seeing the finished article next week.
