Farewell Hampton Court Palace
What a fabulous way to end my year at Hampton Court Palace. As a treat, on this crisp, beautiful blue-sky morning we were taken up to the roof for a special view of the palace. (A few of us realised that there were still lots of parts of the palace that were still undiscovered - but too late now!)
We were then taken round some of the unused and now rather ghostly 'grace and favour' apartments, which were in rather sadder conditions than Captain and Lady Oswald who have looked after us so well this year.
